Laurie Rudling has been a full time print maker since 1987, prior to which he taught art. Following many years of studio practice in Devon, he returned to his native Norwich where he works today.
He is an artist of landscapes and the built environment taking inspiration from direct observation of the world around him. He concentrates mainly on intricately drawn, deeply bitten two plate etchings of the landscape and richly textured collagraph prints of mysterious architectural spaces. All are inked and printed using a 24" Bewick etching press at his studio.
