Katie Bonham creates both sculptural and functional works and draws her influences from the natural world, looking particularly at the forms, colour and surface textures of the sea and plant life.  She uses both wheel and hand building techniques, adding textural decoration to make each piece unique.  She creates work that provokes curiosity and encourages one to touch, hold and inspect the forms where smooth and rouch surfaces meet. 

Graduating from Brighton in 2004, Katie now works from her studio in London
