Heather O'Connor's work is influenced by garden design and architecture, with particular reference to the use of space, structure, boundaries and composition. She explores these ideas through her designs for silverware, jewellery and cufflinks, often combining silver with structural manterials such as wood or concrete to create a unique modern twist.
She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2003 and has won numerous awards including The Crafts Council Selected Maker Award, 2005 and Development Award, 2006.
